Today, Miranda over at Hangin' Loose with the Tucci's is hosting her first recipe swap!
Starting today, it's going to be a monthly event! {Well, as far as I can remember anyway.} Today's theme is very season appropriate - Tailgate Foods! My favorite tailgate foods are kind of regular...nothing special, but I thought I'd share them anyway!
Sarah's Burgers:
{These are Joe's favorite}
1 lb of hamburger meat
1tsp of chili powder
1tsp of ground cumin
1tsp of seasoned meat tenderizer (or seasoned salt, that's just what I have in my pantry at the moment)
1tsp of pepper
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (more or less depending on your tastes)
Place thawed meat into a bowl. Add ingredients. Mix with your hands, until the mixture is even. Make your patties, and place them on the grill!
Makes 4-5 servings.
Rotel Dip:
1 can of Rotel
1 pkg of Velveeta
Open the can of Rotel, and pour into a pot. Cut up the Velveeta cheese and place into the pot. Cook on medium low until all of the cheese is melted. I can't tell you exactly how many servings this makes, because I have never run out of it. I always end up with leftovers.
So, I know these aren't exactly original, but this is what we do around here on Gameday. =)
Now, if you want to join in on the Recipe Swap, head over to Hangin' Loose with the Tucci's and link up!

I am always looking for good football party recipes. Until this post we always had people over almost every weekend for football. I miss those parties.
I am SO HUNGRY right now and these recipes are really calling my name!
I wish we had a grill! I'd love to try those burgers!
