That's right! ORDERS!!!!
Please try not to go into shock because I've posted not just twice in one day, but twice within a few hours. Kinda sad...kinda not. I'm too excited about this to not post about it! And I had to get that award taken care of...it was driving me crazy.
Joe got them this morning and we spent the whole day running around like crazy people. =) This may be weird, but I actually had a good time. We were all over the base today. Going here, getting this signed, going there getting paperwork...probably the longest process ever, but I'm glad we got it done in one day. Now, all that's left is to go to our appointment at transportation on Friday to get the rest of the details ironed out. We spoke to a lady there today who told us when we'd be flying out...and I suddenly got extremely excited. I seriously wanted to jump up and down. I mean...she's booking us a flight! To Hawaii!!!! =D
This is real! This is happening, and it's happening in about 3 weeks! They changed his report date [thank God], so we've got way more time than we thought we had. Plus, they told us we got unaccompanied baggage for moving to Hawaii. PRAISE THE LORD!! This was one thing I was
I finally feel like everything is coming together, and it's going so well. The only things I'm concerned about now are 1) shipping the car and working with the loan company and insurance, 2) my sweet Jasper. I know he'll be safe with my SIL and her hubby, and I'd trust them over just about anybody, but I'm going to miss him so much. Yeah, he can be a pain, but he's still my baby. Ya know? I know God is going to work everything out, but at the same time it's hard not to worry.
But, we're going to Hawaii!!! And we're flying together!! I can't not be excited about that! =D

when you get to Hawaii.. See if they have a lending closet. I know they do in Germany. They will be able to provide furniture (including a bed! no air mattress) so that you don't go without.
Congratulations!! Oh what a great feeling it is to get orders. And to Hawaii! I don't know of anyone who didn't love living in Hawaii. When we PCS'ed back to the states from Japan, we stopped over in Hawaii for a few days, and it was heaven. Can't wait to see all the goreous pictures you'll have to share!
