Inspiration, Where Are You?!

I feel like I have about a million ideas rolling around in my head, but I can't think of what to do with them! Do you ever get like that? I want to write, blog, journal...but it's just not really creative at the moment! So, I'm just going to tell you about my day and then a random thought I had the other day. =) Sound ok to you?

Today was mostly a lazy day. I did get a thing or two accomplished, but that's about it. Joe and I just hung out today. He's supposed to finish paperwork and stuff this week, but we kinda took care of most of it Monday. We're sneaky. He came home and cleaned the house while I was still in morning sleep mode.  I felt bad about it later, but I have a routine... He's a morning person and likes to get things done and have the rest of the day. I loathe mornings, and procrastinate as much as possible. I did Pilates (yay me) and because he'd already picked up the house...I did nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

After lunch, I kinda felt guilty for not doing anything. I needed to go through my closet at some point, so off I went. I think I've finally come to the realization that I will probably never be a size 3 again. It's just not gonna happen. I have stuff in there that I didn't even wear when I was that size. I want to get down to a 6, so I kept all of my 6-ish clothes. Those are going to be my "skinny clothes". =) My goal. So, after going through my 9 zillion tank tops and my entire closet, this is what went to Good Will.

Not the basket though, I kept that. They did get this whole thing full of clothes, plus other clothes I've had in a wardrobe box for about a month. There was a bunch of other crap stuff in there too...but I honestly can't remember. Which means it was a good idea to get rid of all of it! So now, I have all of these to hang new clothes on! {Which is exactly what I told Joe...hehehe. He totally cringed. Yes!}

 This was my attempt at being creative. Eh.

When I sent Joe to Good Will, I took some pics of the pretty tree in front of our building. I only got a few shots because I felt like a goober standing in front of our building taking pictures of the tree it was really hot outside. Here's a what I ended up with.

I think my photography skills need some work.

I really don't know how I did this {I took it using my iPhone camera...uhhh...}, but it's seriously awesome.

Ok, now for the random thought.

A giveaway. Not just any giveaway, but a Hawiian giveaway. Here's the idea:

I want to do a giveaway when I get 100 followers. 'Cause here in the blog world, that's kind of a big deal. It needs celebrating. What better way to celebrate than to have a giveaway?! Here's my idea: if I have 100 followers by the time I get to Hawaii and get all set up in blog land again, I'll have a giveaway. It will most likely be something from Hawaii, that you just can't get from the "mainland". Thoughts? Suggestions? Leave a comment or shoot me an email!

Thanks for stopping by for another one of my very random posts!

I haven't had a creative writing bone in my body for quite sometime. I need to work on that. I liked your pictures of the pretty trees and I like your idea of the Hawaiian giveaway.

I hate those days, where you know you *should* be doing something creative, just because you *should*, but nothing springs up! Something that's always stuck with me (and is in the sidebar of my blog): one of my best writing instructors in college (published dozens of times himself in various formats) said: "The way you tell amateur writers from professional writers is that the amateurs only write when they feel like it." Ouch. I'm an amateur! (but I'm working on it!)

I think a giveaway sounds like a FABULOUS idea! I'll put a shout-out on my blog to help you get to your goal!
